Timetable

This example daily timetable can be adapted to meet pupil age, EHCP outcomes, and individual needs.

09:30 - 10:00

Arrival, breakfast, emotional check-in, review of ground rules and risk assessment.


10:00 - 11:00

Classroom-based Core Learning

Focused English and/or Maths activities aligned to the host school curriculum (e.g. phonics, reading comprehension, writing, numeracy interventions). This will be delivered in a structured, neurodivergent-friendly indoor learning space.


11:00 - 11:15

Movement break and regulation activity.


11:15 - 12:00

Applied Curriculum Learning (outdoor-linked)

Curriculum learning applied through practical tasks. For example, maths through map work; problem-solving activities; science or contextual learning linked to the woodland or farm environment.


12:00 - 12:15

Reflection and check-in.


12:15 - 13:00

Food preparation, lunch, and social communication skills.


13:00 - 14:00

Skills-based Learning (Forest School)

Structured tool-based or practical activities focusing on fine and gross motor skills, teamwork, following instructions and risk awareness.


14:00 - 14:15

Emotional regulation check-in.


14:15 - 15:15

Guided Forest School Exploration

Child-led learning supporting curiosity, independence, emotional regulation and engagement.


15:15 - 15:30

Reflection, consolidation of learning and preparation for transition.

Workshops

The following workshops take place at least once each half-term:

  • Creative Connections: Exploring Natural Art in the Woodland
  • Sculpting Nature: Exploring 3D Art and Clay Creations in the Forest
  • Exploring the world of animals: understanding cows, pigs and horses
  • Sustainable Gardening

  • Sustainable Farming
